Vacation
We took the boys to Williamsburg, VA earlier this month. Our first stop was Colonial Williamsburg, where Aaron and I first met. The boys got to play a lawn game that involved knocking a wooden hoop on one side with a wooden stick to start it rolling. Then you chase after it, continuing to whack it on one side to keep it rolling. To put it kindly, Canaan is not the most coordinated child, but he excelled at this game. Poor kid! He born 400 years too late!
We took them to the stocks and locked them up. Matty was too short, so Aaron had to hold him up. We explained that it was an old-fashioned time out. I asked if they'd like us to build one of these in our backyard for their naughty moments--that idea didn't go over so well!
The next day we went to Busch Gardens. Unfortunately, we weren't able to take any pictures there. We thought we'd lost our camera, but thankfully found it when we got back home. The boys really enjoyed Busch Gardens. Canaan is still talking about the rides he went on and is busy planning his next theme park visit--to Disney World!
